At the age of 38, I had two strokes. I had a two-week stay in the hospital after I was discharged, I returned a week later with blood on the brain. I could barely walk, I slurred when I talked, and I couldn't write. When I returned home this time, I had physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy every week. Soon after I got home, I begin healing physically, however my mental and spiritual state was at an all-time low. I begin to sink into a dark place. A dark place I didn't think I was going to make it out of...but God.
God delivered me from this dark place and brought so many remarkable things out of such a devastating and difficult period of my life, with the most crucial thing being my testimony. What better way to tell you how great God is then to tell you my story. Please know as I tell my story that no goodness, no honor, and no glory belong to me. My testimony is a total testament of God's love, God's grace, God's mercy, and God's faithfulness.
