Tough Talk with Tiffany Blog
We as Believers tend to look for the "warm and fuzzies" in the Bible to comfort us; God's word is meant to comfort us. However, God's word is never meant to comfort us in our sins.
Hebrews 4:12 says, "the word cuts like a twoedged sword." The Holy word is the discerner of our thoughts and intents of our heart. Anytime you read or hear the word, your first thoughts should never be thoughts on how the word pertains to others. Your first thoughts should be how God’s word pertains to you. God's word should be used first to clean up YOU!

No free pass

Who do you think you are?
Why do we continue to think so highly of ourselves that we think we know better than God?

Why is it a bad idea to “follow your heart?”
Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that it’s a bad idea to “follow your heart” because do you truly know what is lurking in the crevices of your heart?

Who is in control? If you love them, give them to God.
So give up control, because you only truly control two things in your life anyway, what you say and what you do!

Are you dying of thirst?
Summer seems to cause this insatiable thirst or a thirst that feels impossible to quench. It’s the same appetite of our flesh.

Don’t be disqualified!
When the scriptures are being presented, please make sure you “eat” or partake of the word first, before you so freely give it away.
